Cant Keep Up With Laundry?

I just cant! I swear to god my laundry breeds, our clothes seem to accumulate each week.

So I am going through my clothes and my pet peeve with the kids as well, is that things get washed TWICE without being worn. How does this happen? I have so much laundry between the kids and I and my husband that it is overflowing. I wish I had two washers and two dryers.

I complain all the time about this problem till someone told me, which is true – is to go through your clothes and hold each one of them up and say, Do I love It? If I dont love it then I should donate it. Apparently, we should only have and keep the clothes we LOVE. I liked that advice, so I went and found clothes that I have not worn for a year and some clothes even two years that is in my closet and sayed, Do I live it? ..no, so I donate it and as well as for the kids and hubby they had to do the same to.

4 large garbage bags later (6-8 washer loads maybe) left the house..phewww. I highly recommend the “Do you love it” stragedy and your laundry will decline.

My Mulled Wine Recipe

Okay, I winged this recipe and loved it, as well as my guest that pop over for Christmas cheers and Home parties love it to. I have noticed that this does not get me whoopy.

1. Whole bottle of dry red wine is a pot. I prefer Australian wine example – Little Penguin ( purple label) Cabernet Sauvignon.
2. 3 cups of cranberry cocktail juice (into pot)
3. whole cranberries from produce throw in a handfull
4. 2 oranges sliced ( through into pot)
5. Hot butter rum – two spoons
6. A couple dashes of cinnimon
7. Mulled spices – generously sprinkle to taste
8.Cinnimon sticks – to put in glass for decor and taste.
Put it to simmer for an hour-ish and serve warm…it is such a nice winter drink and festive.

Christmas Gift Ideas

This time a year comes fast, it sneaks up on you when least expected. Yup, now I have to think again what to buy, and the family seems to grow every year dam it!
So for this years gift idea,
Crafts: I am going to can some lovely jams and decorate the jars, as well – I am making a small home made tips and tricks life recipe booklets. I think that is a cool idea!
As for the kids (nieces and nephews) I will shop amazon or ebay for the little cheap things that kids can use all year round.
As I get older I find the meaning of Christmas is getting stonger and more valuable. Every year is the only time I can express my decorating and gifts that give value to the kids and family, and I only get better every year.

My motto everyone for this years Christmas 2009 : “FAMILY VALUE”

If I find more gift ideas, I will update.
